The Church depends on the support of the faithful. This includes financial support for all the pastoral work undertaken by our Church. In Gibraltar, the Church is essentially supported by voluntary contributions.

THE BISHOP’S CHARITY
Aid to the Church in need: ACN(GIBRALTAR)
Aid to the Church in Need is a papal charity of the Catholic Church, supporting the Catholic faithful and other Christians where they are persecuted, oppressed or in dire pastoral need.
The objectives of ACN are to promote the Church, especially in countries where Christians are suffering persecution and discrimination. Also, to further the other charitable work of the Church by providing practical assistance and pastoral care for persons in need, especially those who are living in, or are refugees from, such countries.

The maintenance of the churches is on-going. The Church spends considerable sums during each year for the upkeep of our Churches. In the case of our old, historic buildings, there are some major, important projects in the pipeline for maintenance and repairs.
