Why Give?

The Church depends on the support of the faithful. This includes financial support for all the pastoral work undertaken by our Church. In Gibraltar, the Church is essentially supported by voluntary contributions.

Carmel Zammit, Bishop of Gibraltar

Without your help, we would not be able to:

Run our parishes and other vital official Church services of pastoral care.
Promote the Catholic Faith: evangelization and projects that are needed in the life of the Church.
Help the poor and needy. This includes those in our Diocese and elsewhere in the world.
Maintain our patrimony, especially our old, historic churches and buildings.
  Support our Priests.

There are three ways in which you can Donate

Your donation to the church will go to general matters of the church such as promotion, advertising, sending priest on courses and training. For the work of the Church please choose GENERAL as the ‘concept’ when making your generous donation.

Aid to the church in need

Aid to the Church in need: ACN(GIBRALTAR)

Aid to the Church in Need is a papal charity of the Catholic Church, supporting the Catholic faithful and other Christians where they are persecuted, oppressed or in dire pastoral need.

The objectives of ACN are to promote the Church, especially in countries where Christians are suffering persecution and discrimination. Also, to further the other charitable work of the Church by providing practical assistance and pastoral care for persons in need, especially those who are living in, or are refugees from, such countries.

Please choose Bishops Charity as the ‘concept’ when making your generous donation.

St Josephs Church

The maintenance of the churches is on-going. The Church spends considerable sums during each year for the upkeep of our Churches. In the case of our old, historic buildings, there are some major, important projects in the pipeline for maintenance and repairs. If you would like to donate towards this, please choose MAINTENANCE as the ‘concept’ for your kind donation.
